Installation of new is as critical to the function as is selecting the right product for your new space. Nothing is more frustrating than a piece of furniture that does not perform the way is intended due to poor installation methods.

The Installation Team at Shore Total Office can install just about any type of furnish- ing system in the market. They are experts in furniture systems, and can install either newly purchased products, or existing pieces you’d like to relocate. While traditionally non-union, we offer the capability to comply with Davis-Bacon regulations.

The Process
An installation plan begins with a meeting between the Shore account execu- tive, the project manager, and the lead installer. At the meeting, the team reviews project drawings, specifications, and most importantly your expectations. Base on these facts, the team determines the complexity, manpower requirements, product delivery, schedule, and site needs. The installation dates are set and installers are assigned to the work order.

At the time of installation, with the direction of the lead installer, the crew is dispatched begin work. Staging areas are located, building protection systems are placed, and delivery paths are established. The products are staged using a pre- planned sequence that allows other trades such as cable and electricians to complete their tasks. Upon completion of the installation, the crew cleans and fine-tunes the furniture to the client’s satisfaction. The lead installer performs the last walk- through to address any details and/or adjustments. Then, you simply move in and get to work.
